Do You Even Jane, Bro?

In this episode Tim & the Gang are in the basement of an undisclosed friends house in beautiful Seattle. Drinks had been consumed, laughs were had, and because this was our 1st attempt @ recording on location the audio isn’t perfect. But what was this taping? We met Jane, said goodbye to Peter, & most importantly recorded a lot of unusable fits of laughter. Honestly, great times had by all. Please enjoy our stupidity.

To the Extreme?

It’s 1990. The single best selling Rap album of ALL TIME is released. Where else is a Ninja to GO! GO! GO!? You were supposed to find out as we took a very quick leap into the world wide phenomenon that is To The Extreme, but my guest took it upon himself to get arrested for beating his girlfriend the day after we taped & I couldn’t in good conscience use any of it. So Instead take a behind the scene look of us messing around in the studio on a new project I’m working on while we figure out where to go from here.

Pilot Episode – Hooked

Wow, our pilot episode is finally here! It took longer to post due to our original engineers lack of experience but after reaching out to somebody else last minute to do the best they could in as little time as possible I think we came out okay.

In this, the 1st episode of Yo Vanilla! the Vanilla Ice Podcast Tim is joined in studio by Seattle based Dj HalfDead to breakdown and discuss the history of a young up and coming Vanilla Ice as well as his 1989 debut release Hooked.

I Love You Moore

Upon returning to Seattle from Hollywood I found myself looking for work & with what felt like an endless amount of free time on my hands. My podcast dreams now behind me I looked for another outlet to fill the artistic gap. Being head over heals in love at the time I co-wrote this love song for a woman I was interested in. It only took 2 days to write, record, & master but by the end I was proud enough to burn it to a CD & give as a gift. I played the single for the object of my affection & afterwords was told that she enjoyed it. She then asked me to play it at her funeral should she ever kill herself.

We soon broke up.

The Little Theme Song That Wasn’t

Back in 2013 while living in Hollywood, CA I found myself trapped inside my car in stop & go traffic on I-5 on a Thursday afternoon for 3 & a half of the longest hours of my life listening to various Afternoon Zoo-Crew Radio reminding me that I was still stuck in traffic. Since I wasn’t moving I picked up my phone to text a friend back home about the traffic in L.A. & they suggested to me an episode of a podcast they were listing to at the time. I downloaded the show & spent the rest of the ordeal laughing the wait away. Days later I thanked that friend for the suggestion & told him it had left me with a creative itch that needed scratched so I began researching what the top podcasts were, what format they followed, & planned to launch my own show in 2014. The show “Tim Kerrick Talks About Himself” was going to be like so many others a discussion show between myself & one of the 3 guests I had booked at the time. I commissioned a freelance rapper to create a short theme song theme song for the show.

This is that song.
